Music lessons at Multnoman libraries

Making music lessons available for everyone

LittleTone musical programs are thoughtfully designed and adaptable, allowing them to be taught in various locations and environments. The Multnomah County libraries provide an excellent platform for working with children from diverse backgrounds and cultures, enabling them to explore their voices, discover their musical inclinations, and enjoy the engaging atmosphere of a musical group.

These libraries offer a fantastic opportunity for kids to acquaint themselves with music fundamentals, delve into music theory and sound production, and explore different musical genres, composers, and styles.

Our programs cater to children aged 3 to 6 and 6 to 9. They are taught in both English and Russian, making them accessible to Russian-speaking students in Portland and the surrounding areas. This bilingual approach allows children whose native language isn't English to comfortably learn music in their mother tongue, potentially igniting a new passion in their lives.
